El plan básico, que cuesta una miseria, ofrece 500GB de espacio (si, ¡512000MB!) y 5TB de ancho de banda (5120GB).

¿Impresionados? Pues dejadme comentaros que como premio a la fidelidad el espacio disponible aumenta en 2GB cada semana y el ancho de banda en 40GB. Sin pagar un solo céntimo más.

Y no hay trampa ni cartón: la calidad del servicio es excelente y decenas las funcionalidades que ofrece, desde un nombre de dominio completamente gratis a la instalación con un solo click de aplicaciones como WordPress (no en vano es uno de los pocos hostings recomendados por los creadores de WordPress), MediaWiki, phpBB o Mambo pasando por la posibilidad de montar un servidor Jabber o soporte de streaming.

Hablemos también de precios. Porque lo creáis o no los precios también son impresionantes. Sobre todo utilizando alguno de los códigos de promoción que cualquier persona alojada en Dreamhost os puede proporcionar.

El concepto de los códigos de promoción consiste en que Dreamhost ofrece 97$ como recompensa por cada persona que contrate sus servicios mediante un código de promoción, que pueden ser repartidos por la persona que creó el código como él quiera entre si mismo y el comprador. Es decir, cualquier usuario actual de Dreamhost puede ofreceros algunos dólares de descuento al contratar el hosting simplemente usando su código de promoción.

De esta forma se crea un incentivo tanto para la persona que referencia como para la que contrata.

And now let’s talk about prices. Believe it or not, they are incredible too. Especially if you use one of the promo codes every person hosted with Dreamhost can give you.
